a great exhibit right now in detroit “From Monet to Dali” the detroit institute of art’s exhibit includes an array of work, from Picasso’s “La Vie”, Van Gogh’s ”The Poplars at Saint Remy”, Bonnard, Piet Mondrian and Salvador Dali. the five rooms of the exhibit were packed the saturday i was there – and for good reason… but two other spaces well worth checking out are the contemporary section, including works by Frank Stella, Andy Warhol and Robert Rauschenberg the second being a mural by Diego Rivera (Frida Kahlo’s husband)
